Alex G. Macdonald, Esq. is an attorney and consultant with Affinity's Columbus, OH office. Alex focuses his consulting practice in the areas of law firm time, billing, accounting, and case management.
Prior to joining Affinity, Alex was a staff attorney with the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI) where he handled matters related to Law Office Management & Technology education. During his time at PBI, Alex created PBI's first annual multi-day law office management and technology conference, quickly becoming one of the premier events of its kind in the country. Alex is also a former Senior Manager of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association where he directed that organization's Member Benefit relationships. Alex is admitted to the practice of law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association where he is active in the Solo & Small Firm Practice Section. He is also a member of the Association for Continuing Legal Education and a former member of the National Association of Bar Executives.
Alex is a frequent CLE lecturer. His CLE seminars cover many topics, including, but not limited to, law office accounting and billing, mobile lawyering, time management, and social media for lawyers. Alex received his undergraduate degree from Baldwin-Wallace College and his Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
